Perhaps you must have heard the phrase, ‘The Clothes Make the Man’. It is true, not just the man. They also make the woman. Did I mention in one of the previous series, that my friend Jenny embarked on physical well-being revamps via exercise and diet? Maybe I did not. Okay, Jenny improved excellently and progressively with her revamp program, that it became needful of her to buy fresh clothes. Before now, Jenny’s clothes tend to be tight on her – tight in several ways.

However, presently, the clothes she wears just fit suitably unlike the previous ones that appear as though she was tucked into a tight sack forcefully – oh don’t get me wrong, I’m not mocking my friend, simply describing what used to be.
Jenny’s outfits these days highlight her assets moderately (you know the kind of assets…um) – she really feels cool in them, both physically and otherwise. Her looks and life in fact gives her a good feeling these days.
Jenny’s case really hit me with the realization that it is really essential to wear fitting apparels. I mean proper fitting – I’m not mincing words at all.
You want to make sure you appear your best and put on clothes that would produce the same feeling? Explore these excellent rules of thumb:
• Too Tight, then Teeny-weeny
Small clothes would mean squeezing into them, and the outcome would be bulges here and there. You may not know, but clothes with a bit loose cuts provide you with more flattering slim looks compared to the tight cuts. Clothes that are overly tight have stopped being flattering – but if you have washboard abs or extremely low body fat, there may be an exception.
• Movement and Breathe Test
This is not the corset era, so I wonder why you should have yourself packed like a sardine in a piece of clothing. If you struggle to breathe or move while wearing a cloth, you need no one to tell you that the cloth is on the tight side, and that you should stop wearing to such clothe(s).
• Streamlining It
Overly baggy clothes characterized the eighties; the trend has phased off over two decades ago. This is time to streamline – but don’t be involved in any of the extreme cases – extremely loose (baggy) and extremely tight clothes.
