Don’t you just hate it when the beauty products you’ve gone to prom with, those saved you in a lot of dates, and ones that still loyally traveled with you to your honeymoon just up and went without saying goodbye? I just don’t hate it, I feel totally betrayed and left hanging out to dry. How can these companies, after so many years of loyal patronage, could have done this?
But all is not lost, thankfully. There are means and ways to get that bygone product, even if it left without closure. The most popular, as is always the case in most breakups, is a confrontation. You can call the customer hotline of the manufacturer, or even pay a visit, if you so strongly feel about it, and ask whether you can get a year’s supply of the particular product you have in mind.
There is always a reason why companies take a product off the shelf. They may just be “reinventing” it, in which case no need for all the drama, or they are updating it. If you don’t want to settle for an update, there’s a big chance that there will be truck loads of that product somewhere, and they will just be too glad to turn some of it into cash. You may even get your year’s supply with a huge discount!
The other way is to search online, and you may just be surprised to find out that there are many online stores that hasn’t taken them off the virtual shelf yet. Places like Amazon, Ebay, and other online stores are great hunting grounds for hard-to-find items. Now you just need to make sure that they are not expired. With luck, your favorite beauty product can still accompany you to your child’s university graduation.
