Did J-Lo Invent the Solution for Hair Loss?

J-Lo is known to trail blaze a lot of things (hello, smoky makeup!) but I love her not for her dance moves, not for her sweet, glossy pout, and her recent stint in American Idol. I love her for her fashion ingenuity that has done a lot for alopecians all over the world, perhaps without her even knowing it.

scarvesI’ve tried many things, from shampoos to moisturizers to oil and creams that always promise better hair growth, only to be dismayed again by the sight of a hair strand (or more) lying in my pillow after I sleep. Now I can stop fussing about my hair loss and stop dumping all those products that for all I know just aggravates the problem because J-Lo has done something that I will forever be grateful for: she wore scarves!

Scarves were not very popular in the past and wearing them will always invite a curious glance or two. Wearing scarf to the office, for example, is unheard of, until this lady from the Bronx made it fashionable, and therefore acceptable. Now I can strut around town without anyone thinking I am having a terribly bad day hiding inside my scarf. I can go to meetings without anyone wondering what I am hiding in my scarf.

The best part of it is that because J-Lo made it fashionable, a lot of retail and designer names have launched their very own scarf lines, even the goddess herself has her own line, making it very easy for me to have a proper scarf for any occasion. Now I can leave my troubled scalp be, and give it time to heal.

Yes, I agree. JoLo is a true trail blazer for those of us that have hair follicle issues. I suffer from alopecia and wear a scarf everyday. I started my own company 5 years ago and designed a very fashionable head scarf..see (www.4women.com). I love seeing JoLo in a head scarf. Thanks Jo Lo….keep wearing scarves – we love it.
