Kristin Davis, the starlet from Sex and the City, had her fans shaking their heads in disbelief at the beginning of last summer – why you ask? It would seem that this body beautiful is a little freaked out by parading in her bikini. Celebrities never fail to surprise me.
That being said, she did pose for Fitness magazine back in May and whether digitally enhanced or not – can’t deny that she looks pretty hot at 45. In her words, the photo shoot was “Intimidating to say the least”. She doesn’t see herself as one of the more ‘skinny’ stars of Hollywood fame, claiming that she has ‘hips’ and all.

Like I said, unless digital wizardry was involved in her photo shoot, I can’t see that she would have any concerns over her figure – in fact, a sandwich or two wouldn’t be a bad idea (I’m only jealous!) Despite acting like all shy in front of the camera in her gorgeous mix bikini, Kristin knows that being at peace with one’s body (despite all the unwanted parts supposedly) is the key to confidence.
I often wish I could afford a personal trainer and dietitian to get the optimum from my body; a luxury that many of today’s stars have. Reading through the interview with Kristin in Fitness, I found myself skimming down to the good bit about how she maintains such an incredibly toned tum. Well, she works out every single day of course and regularly munches on salads – should have known! Her favorite fitness is hiking with her dogs and unlike Charlotte, she doesn’t do running, having endured ankle problems during the filming of Melrose Place.
I guess the moral of this post is that you should find companionship with an energetic dog or two and eat plenty of salad – but remember too that you should find peace with your body, ‘hips and all’!
